About Me

I’m Ryan, a wedding photographer based in Hastings, East Sussex. I love travelling with my girlfriend, Ruby—we’ve explored over 20 countries together, with Southeast Asia holding a special place in our hearts. Music is a huge part of my life and you'll most likely find me listening to Eminem or Arctic Monkeys.

My photography journey began in 2016 while inter railing through Europe. Standing in the streets of Barcelona, surrounded by incredible architecture, I found myself documenting everything around me—initially on my HTC phone. Somewhere between cities, something clicked. I became hooked on the creative process and the thrill of capturing moments exactly as I imagined them. Not long after, I bought my first camera, a Nikon D3300, and began learning the foundations of photography: light, composition, and storytelling.

After a year backpacking through Southeast Asia, that curiosity grew into a true passion. Wanting to master the craft, I enrolled with The British Academy of Photography, completed a HNC, and was honoured to be named as their Photographer of the Year in 2022.

Through dedication and hard work, I turned my passion for photography into a full-time career in October 2024. With nearly a decade of experience behind the lens and three years specialising in weddings, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 70 incredible couples.
My style is natural, candid, and timeless—focused on real connection rather than forced moments. I blend into the background when needed, gently guide during portraits, and jump on the dance floor when the party starts. I focus on the small moments: the laughter, happy tears, fleeting glances, and everything in between that makes your day uniquely yours.

I go above and beyond for every couple, taking the time to understand what truly matters to you and ensuring your experience feels relaxed, seamless, and enjoyable from start to finish.
