Pre-Wedding
Engagement shoots, pre-wedding sessions, love stories—whatever you choose to call them, here’s why I always recommend one.
A pre-wedding shoot is the perfect opportunity for us to meet in person before the big day, for you both to get comfortable in front of the camera, and for us to build a connection—all while having some fun. It’s a chance to slow things down, take the pressure off, and ease into the experience together. Just the three of us with no timeline to adhere to.
By far the most common thing couples say to me is, “We hate having our photo taken,” “We’re awkward,” or “We’re really nervous.” And that’s completely normal. In fact, I’m yet to leave a shoot where a couple didn’t enjoy themselves or feel happy with how it went.
Yes, the first 10 minutes might feel a little strange—but once those initial nerves pass and we get into the flow, it quickly becomes about the two of you being yourselves. I’ll guide you as much or as little as needed, keep things relaxed, and capture the natural moments as they unfold.
If you’re feeling nervous about being in front of the camera, an engagement shoot is the best way to arrive at your wedding day feeling confident, relaxed, and excited.
